Dear neighbors,

It just doesn’t seem that long ago that I first ran to be your representative as the Las Vegas City Councilman here in Ward 2.

Now, on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, I’ve filed for re-election.

Over the years since I was first elected, I’ve come to know many of you personally. We’ve worked on neighborhood issues together, talked about the direction we want our part of the city to move towards, and shared our concerns about the problems we still face.

During that time, I’ve come to know much more about our ward and our city. Now, when we are facing tough economic times as a city, a state and a nation, I’m relying on that experience and my relationship with the many, many people in Ward 2 that I’ve met over the years to help guide my decisions.

No one has all the answers, but we are all in this together. What I am committed to do as your City Councilman is what I have done—I will do my best to be accessible, to listen carefully, and to vote for what I believe is best for our area, our way of life, and our city.
